OPTIMASI PROSES BRAZING SAMBUNGAN PIPA ALUMINIUM A6063-T4 DAN FLANGE A6063-T6 DENGAN METODE TAGUCHI
PT XYZ is industrial manufacturing of car air conditioning. In the production processes of pipe air conditioning still found rejected part. The biggest reject founded in the brazing process. To decrease reject ratio, company need to do improvement action. Improvement by research influenced factor to obtained ideal process parameter.
To solve above problem improvement activity using taguchi method. Advantages of this method are ability to improve quality of response and the efficiency of experiment. Implementation step are selecting controlled factor, noise factor and level each parameter. And then make orghogonal matrix for experiment. Analysis process based on optimalizing Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR), Mean analyzing and ANOVA.
Analysis result of SNR and mean are concluded that pre heating temperature 500°C, clearance 0.5mm and air cooling is ideal setting parameter to achieve best torque performance. Best torque performance achieved is 206.33 N.m.
